Artist statement:
With the enchanting whimsy of “Mary Poppins as my muse, this piece blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. “Falling Skyward” explores the desire to transcend the ordinary and venture into the extraordinary. As the figure falls skyward, towards Poppin’s parrot umbrella, she ignites a sense of wonder within the viewer, rekindling dormant dreams.

I drew this artwork during the 2023 Mary Poppins festival. I was inspired by the whimsical environment with coloured umbrellas and strangers dressed in cosplay.

This artwork was carefully drawn with high quality artist pencils on the prestigious Magnani 1404 cold pressed fine art paper.
This artwork is framed in an oak frame with D hooks and wire attached on the back ready for your wall.
