A strong part of my art practice is to journal my thoughts, feelings and experiences. This particular drawing was drawn in my visual art diary.

Artist statement:
This drawing depicts how awkward I feel sometimes in new situations. Where do I look? What do I say? Is there something on my face? Am I getting away with smiling and nodding?
