Dear Diary,
Silly Billy grew out of the moments I share with my daughter, the ones where we forget the to-do lists, the clocks, the routines, and just let ourselves be ridiculous. I spend so much of my life trying to keep things running smoothly that I sometimes worry I come across as serious, even though that’s not who I am at my core.
This piece is a gentle nudge to myself not to lose that inner spark. The playful, messy, joyful part that still wants to skip around with a cardboard box on her head. A reminder that growing older doesn’t mean growing out of who I really am.
